What we've built

Projects for clients, our own products and the software they share.

Our own products

The Jennea homepage.

Own product

Jennea

Jennea is our own platform for archives, heritage societies, funeral homes, genealogists and families. Memorial cards hold names, dates, places and family ties, and retyping them by hand is slow. Jennea reads scanned documents and extracts people, dates, places and relationships. People only check the doubtful cases. The data becomes a searchable family tree with GEDCOM import and export. A box of memorial cards becomes structured family history.

The Bidprent search page.

Own product

Bidprent

Bidprent is our own search engine for family researchers and genealogy enthusiasts. Memorial cards from the past two centuries are spread across heritage societies and private collections. Bidprent indexes those cards and makes them searchable by name, place and year. Searching is free, and a card you find can be bought as a scan and downloaded straight away. Collectors can also order paper card sets per region. Bidprent is available in Dutch, French and English.

JennOCR

JennOCR is the text recognition engine behind Jennea. Standard OCR struggles with old Dutch memorial cards and death notices, which are often handwritten. We built our own OCR service on the open-source Kraken engine, trained for this kind of document. It handles jobs in a priority queue with parallel workers. It returns the text with the position of every line. Jennea sends its documents to JennOCR and receives the recognised text automatically.

The SmartResto homepage.

Own product

SmartResto

SmartResto is our own product for independent restaurants. A menu often exists on paper, in a Word document and online, and every copy has to be changed separately. In SmartResto a restaurant manages one menu. The QR menu, the PDF menu and the translations in Dutch, French and English come from that one source. An existing PDF menu can be imported instead of retyped. A change is correct everywhere at once.

Own product

Snap-e

Snap-e is our own product for weddings, parties and company events. Guests take many photos at an event, and the hosts rarely receive them. Guests scan a QR code and upload their photos without an app or an account. The photos appear on a live photo wall during the event. Afterwards the hosts download everything in full quality as one ZIP file. Snap-e is available in Dutch, French and English.

Own product

Stravix

Stravix is our own product for teams that manage or migrate many websites. Finding out what a website contains, tracks and runs on takes a lot of manual work. Stravix visits every page of a website and takes a screenshot of each one. It lists cookies, trackers and technology, and checks consent against the GDPR. The result is a report in the browser, as Markdown or as PDF. Websites can be compared side by side in one report.
